I planted milkweed 2 years ago and last spring/summer we had oodles of Monarchs visiting our garden and hundreds of caterpillars munching away on the milkweed plants. I don't know where the caterpillars went to form their chrysalis but we had Monarchs here in Southern Orange County all summer. So far this year my milkweed is in bloom but NO Monarchs. Any idea why?

I'm not sure...same thing here in Minnesota in my backyard. Although, we have had a cool, rainy Spring.
