My Black Swallowtail Butterfly

My Black Swallowtail Butterfly

This is the Black Swallowtail Butterfly that emerged after over wintering on it's Chrysalis in my shed.

Imagine how excited I was to see it come flying out of the shed ...I wish I had seen it emerge from the chrysalis.....
but at least I know it made it!

RAISE THEM!

Why don't you raise them. It's very easy and then you get to watch them go through a complete life cycle. Once they emerge, you have about an hour to a hour and a half before they fly away. Great for pictures. If you have any questions just drop me a note....Tom
